About Us

Gennaro came from Sicily and began his journey in Windsor shovelling snow off roofs. One fateful day, he was called into a cafe and asked "can you make a cup of coffee?" He's never left the back of an espresso machine since! 

In 1981, Gennaro's Cafe and Coffee Company began. At the time, it was also a laundromat and lottery! Since then it has become a staple of Erie Street. We make fresh espresso, gelato, and pastries with care, in-house. 

Gennaro's Cafe and Coffee Company holds true to our Italian roots and culture, and values its community of regulars. We make our coffee and gelato in house using top shelf ingredients. Our coffee is now served beyond Gennaro Cafe. You can try it at restaurants and cafes throughout Windsor, London, and Toronto - or even in your own home!
